About Me
John Nojima grew up in a primarily working class area of Torrance, California, where he was the first in his family to graduate from college. He attended California State Dominguez Hills on a basketball scholarship and was Captain and All Conference on the Men’s Basketball team, a California Rhodes Scholar finalist, the CSUDH Outstanding Graduate, and the Woody Hayes Male NCAA Division II Scholar Athlete of the Year.
