Johnson Johnson Lucas & Middleton has deep roots in Oregon and an B68equally deep commitment to civil justice. The law firm’s founder, Art Johnson, has been an active member of the Oregon State Bar since 1953 when he returned to Oregon following graduation from Harvard Law School and served in the US Air Force. Together with his father, brother, and close friend, Jim Harrang, Art Johnson built the Eugene, Oregon, firm of Johnson, Johnson & Harrang.
That firm was quickly recognized throughout Oregon for providing excellent representation and professionalism.During the next 30 years, Art increasingly focused his practice on civil litigation, in particular representing people injured or killed by defective products, negligent acts, and other serious wrongdoing. In 1983, Art opened the firm now known as Johnson Johnson Lucas & Middleton. Firm founder Art Johnson was a shareholder until July 2018, when he retired as an attorney. He is now a trial consultant for the firm.
